eduroamCAT for Windows

Please make sure to have an active internet connection.
In case you change your passwort you need to repeat this installation using eduroamCAT.

  1. Open https://cat.eduroam.org and select Hamburg University of Technology.
  2. Download eduroamCAT by clicking the blue button.
    3. Set up automatically on Windows 10 Set up automatically on Windows 10 Set up automatically on Windows 10
  3. Run the installation program and follow the instructions.

    4. During the first setup a security warining will appear, because you are installing a rootcertificate. Confirm by clicking Yes, now DFN-Verein Community Root CA 2022 will be installed.
    If you receive the following warning message after launching eduroamCAT: "The connection to SmartScreen is currently not possible.", please click on Run!

  4. Log in with your TUHH account and click Install.
  5. Finish the installation program by clicking Finish.

Questions/Support

Please make sure that your device has the latest patches installed, that you are not using more than one anti-virus program and that no "unblocker" is active.
(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)
