You can leave the username and password for the LDAP server blank. As soon as you are in the eduroam or TUHH VPN, the contacts are displayed automatically.

Installation on Windows
To install certificates on Windwos, you must first download the certificate. You can download the certificate here: https://doku.tid.dfn.de/_media/de:dfnpki:ca:dfn-verein_community_root_ca_2022.pem. Then follow the steps below:
- Press the Windows key and search for Control Panel. Open it.
- Select Network and Internet and then Internet options.
- Under the Contents tab, select Certificates.
- Clicking Import will take you to the certificate import assistent. Click Next.
- Search for the previously downloaded certificate and select it. Then confirm with Next.
- Make sure that Trusted root certificate authorities is selected as the certificate storage. If this is not the case, select this under Browse.... Confirm with Next.
- With a click on Complete you finish the assistant and have successfully added the certificate.
Installation on Android
Before you install the root certificate, you must first download it. You can download this via an existing internet connection at https://doku.tid.dfn.de/_media/de:dfnpki:ca:dfn-verein_community_root_ca_2022.pem. If you do not have access to an internet connection, you can also use the VPN/WEB on the TUHH campus. If a window opens automatically, please close it again and open the Webvpn manually in the web browser of your choice at: https://webvpn.rz.tuhh.de/.
You can then install the root certificate in two ways:
- Variant A:
- Variant B:
- Open your security settings (here: Biometric Data and Security).
- Click on Install from USB memory.
- Click on WLAN certificate.
- Select the root certificate and click OK.
- Give the root certificate a unique name (here: DFN-Verein Community Root CA 2022) and confirm with OK.
- You have successfully installed the root certificate.

Windows 10 (and 11) - wlanreport
To output a detailed HTML report, you can call the Windows shell as an administrator with
netsh wlan show wlanreport
or execute the following script:

Uninstallation
The "normal" uninstall unfortunately leaves some traces behind, that can interfere with future configurations.- Download the following script at your own discretion: securew2_manual_uninstall.bat or attempt it with the CCleaner
- Uninstall the SecureW2 over the Windows UI
- Run the script or the CCleaner with admin rights (again:at our own discretion)

(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)
