eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool
Please use this tool for configuring the connection to the eduroam network.

Apple profiles (iOS and MacOS)

First remove old eduroam and TUHH configuration profiles under Settings → General → Profiles. Multiple profiles for eduroam may otherwise conflict with each other.

Windows 10 (and 11) - wlanreport

To output a detailed HTML report, you can call the Windows shell as an administrator with
  netsh wlan show wlanreport
or execute the following script:

eduroam CAT with the GeantLink (Version from 12.02.2020)

If there are problems with the Windows native EAP supplicant, the eduroam CAT with the GeantLink is available for download here:

Uninstallation

The "normal" uninstall unfortunately leaves some traces behind, that can interfere with future configurations.
  • Download the following script at your own discretion: securew2_manual_uninstall.bat or attempt it with the CCleaner
  • Uninstall the SecureW2 over the Windows UI
  • Run the script or the CCleaner with admin rights (again:at our own discretion)

Questions/Support

Please make sure that your device has the latest patches installed, that you are not using more than one anti-virus program and that no "unblocker" is active.
(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)
