Description of the company

wellplayd is the software for modern and responsible club management — from the protection concept to certificates of good conduct to the secure reporting channel for sports clubs and child & youth organisations in Germany.

Situation

DOSB organisations: Landessportbund, Fachverband, Stadtsportbund, Kreissportbund, and clubs increasingly need to hold their own protection concept (Schutzkonzept), an important development accelerated by regulatory pressure (NRW's Landeskinderschutzgesetz and its 2026 FSJ/BFD deadline).

Problem

Translating an organisation’s own protection concept (Schutzkonzept) into an operational platform configuration — eFZ/Führungszeugnis tracking, whistleblower channel, case management, digital signatures — is currently manual work. The protection concept is organisation-specific and varies even across organisations at the same hierarchical tier; each document is either an internal-use concept or a template published for other organisations to adopt, and this distinction is currently identified manually.

Aims of the project

Build an external interface that reads the protection concept of any DOSB-organisation held for its own internal use, and then maps the fields onto wellplayd’s existing platform features: the form builder, eFZ/Führungszeugnis lifecycle tracking,digital signatures, the whistleblower/reporting channel, and case management. Conflicts against known reference values are flagged, never auto-resolved. The resulting configuration is surfaced for preview and authorisation within wellplayd’s existing admin interface before workflow activation.

Scopes

In scope: parsing the protection concept held by any DOSB organisation for its own internal use; classification of the content; mapping to the platform features: the form builder, eFZ/Führungszeugnis lifecycle tracking, the whistleblower/reporting channel, and case management; flagging conflicts against known reference values.

In scope, as a required check: verifying, per document, whether a given protection concept is an organisation’s own internal-use file or a template published for other organisations to adopt. Only confirmed internal-use files qualify as input.

Out of scope: modifying wellplayd’s core platform or architecture — this project operates strictly as an external interface that prepares and maps data for wellplayd’s existing systems.

Following prior experience, knowledge and/or skills are beneficial:

• Document AI and information extraction from heterogeneous, free-form German-language PDFs
• Parallel/concurrent extraction pipeline design
• Category and schema classification
• Platform/API integration — mapping extracted data into an existing form builder and workflow system
• Evaluation and study design: extraction accuracy, conflict-detection precision, human-review-rate measurement
• Careful reading and verification of German-language organisational and legal source documents.
• Prior experience (good to have) in AI-driven development, with JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kubernetes
• Experience working with Scrum methodology 
• Project management skills
