From the summer semester 2024, all TUHH students will receive a digital Deutschlandsemesterticket for a price of EUR 176.40 per semester.

The digital Deutschlandsemesterticket is valid throughout Germany in all networks and with all transport companies, with the exception of long-distance transport (such as ICE, IC, EC, etc.).

The ticket is valid for the entire semester and cannot be canceled on a monthly basis.

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is only issued digitally via a web application or wallet.
If you do not have a mobile device, please contact the AStA of the TU Hamburg for a solution.

Attention:

STUDIS no longer sends semester documents by post.

The student ID card and the enrollment certificate are provided digitally in TUNE as a download and are also valid in printed form.

Please note:

You can only apply for the Deutschlandsemesterticket after successful enrollment/re-registration and payment of the semester fee.

Refund from the hardship fund

If you cannot or do not want to use the Deutschlandsemesterticket, you can apply for a refund of the semester fee under certain conditions.

Possible reasons for this could be, for example, a severe disability or absence from the university.
The Studierendenwerk Hamburg is responsible for processing these applications. Detailed information on the conditions and deadlines as well as the digital application form can be found on the Studierendenwerk Hamburg website.

Refund on exmatriculation

If you exmatriculate, you can have the costs for your Deutschlandsemesterticket reimbursed by the S-Bahn Hamburg on a pro rata basis for the remaining period of use on presentation of your certificate of exmatriculation.
