International Affairs

The International Affairs department deals with the strategic development and implementation of the internationalization of our university and offers all members of the university various services and advice on the implementation of internationalization measures.

Our area of responsibility includes

  • the development of strategic university cooperation,
  • the mobility of students, academics and staff and
  • support with starting your studies and integration on campus.

We advise international students, visiting academics and people interested in a stay abroad and work closely with the institutes and university management to jointly shape the internationalization of TU Hamburg.

Section Partnerships and Strategy

The section Partnerships and Strategy advises and supports:

  • in the development and implementation of strategic internationalization at TU Hamburg with the involvement of all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • in the development and coordination of international university partnerships, strategic networks and cooperation programs,
  • in projects with regard to national and international funding programs, their possible implementation and financing. This concerns both research projects and the systematic promotion of mobility for all university members.
