openconnect on Ubuntu
To be able to work freely you have to build up a VPN connection to this university.
Proceed as follows:
- unlock universe sources:
- install the following pakages:
- Ubuntu/Debian:
- network-manager-openconnect
- network-manager-openconnect-gnome
for example in the terminal withsudo apt-get install network-manager-openconnect network-manager-openconnect-gnome - openSUSE 13.2:
- NetworkManager-openconnect-0.9.10.0-2.1.4.x86_64
- openconnect-6.00-3.1.3.x86_64

- Arch Linux
- networkmanager-openconnect for example in the terminal with
pacman -S networkmanager-openconnect
- open the Network-Manager
- Add and choose a Connection Type ⇒ Multiprotocol-VPN-Client (openconnect), not
Cisco-Compatible VPN-Client (vpnc)
- Connection name: TUHH-VPN (arbitrary)
- General:
- Gateway: any1.rz.tuhh.de
- T-TeleSec CA-Certificate: /etc/ssl/certs/GlobalRoot_Class_2.crt ( ⇒ Download )
- Connect to TUHH-VPN
- enter RZ username and password
- Add and choose a Connection Type ⇒ Multiprotocol-VPN-Client (openconnect), not
- for the console:
sudo openconnect any1.rz.tuhh.de
You can repeat the steps above to create an option against the failure of the main server.

Please make sure that your device has the latest patches installed, that you are not using more than one anti-virus program and that no "unblocker" is active.
(Unblocker are programs which can unlock content, that is blocked in one country, but not another.)

In the non-lecture period, the WiFi consultation will take place in room L3.024.
- Monday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thuesday 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
- Thursday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be no Wi-Fi consultation on September 1, 2, or 3. Instead, it will take place on September 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Starting September 7, Wi-Fi consultation will be available at the following times:
- Mondays: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
