By joing our excursions and trips you will get the opportunity to confront German and European history, politics and culture, to marvel at the beautiful landscaspes, to make new friends and last but not least.... to gain fluency in German and English.
1. Exploring the south: Trip to Oberstaufen
Every winter semester the Welcome@TUHH program organizes - in cooperation with the Student Counseling Center and the Career Center- a sport trip for students and alumni to Oberstaufen. The trip gives you the opportunity to get to know another part of Germany: Allgäu in the Alps. You will also have a chance to take part in the workshop with the Alumni of TUHH and exchange views about career opportunities in Germany after your graduation.
Exploring the North: Wadden- sea- hiking to the island Neuwerk
Join us for the full-day tour through the Wadden Sea World Heritage region. The tour take you through scenic areas along or near the coast. At numerous waypoints you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the nature and culture of the respective region.
3. Exploring the capital city of Germany: Welcome to Berlin
Berlin has been the stage for a lot of world history and not just the fall of the Berlin Wall. You will be able to learn about Berlin´s history, to discover famous places and locations like the Reichstag Parliament Building, Brandenburg Gate and the TV Tour. The visit in the famous Berlin´s Museum Island which is the largest museum ensamble in the world, rounds off our trip.
