The Student Council and the School of Process Engineering at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) are organising the ‘Process Engineering Day 2025’ for the first time on 10 July 2025, bringing together students, companies and science. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., prospective process engineers will gain authentic insights into their future career opportunities at the TUHH's Learning and Communication Centre (LUK).
High-calibre industry partners present themselves
Eleven well-known companies from various industries will present themselves in 15-minute short presentations under the motto ‘What would you do as a career starter with us?’. They include international corporations such as Sanofi and Shell, innovative biotechnology companies such as Brain Biotech and Infinite Roots, as well as regional partners such as Hamburger Energiewerke and Stadtreinigung Hamburg. Specialists such as Bronkhorst, Ingredion, H&R Ölwerke Schindler, Microharvest and Everycarbon will also be demonstrating the diverse career paths that process engineering opens up.
In addition to the company presentations, the companies will be available at exhibition stands for questions and discussions. This open atmosphere enables students to ask specific questions about entry opportunities, everyday working life and career prospects.
The event starts at 3.00 pm with drinks and food before the official welcome at 3.15 pm. The company presentations start at 3.30 pm and run until 6.30 pm. At the same time, interested parties can obtain information at the company stands. The Process Engineering Student Council will provide refreshments, including home-brewed beer.
The event emphasises the growing importance of process engineering in times of energy transition, sustainable production and biotechnology.
The Process Engineering Day is jointly organised by the Student Council and the Dean's Office of Process Engineering at the TUHH and takes place in the Learning and Communication Centre (LUK) on the Schwarzenberg Campus.
