How to establish partnerships with TUHH

Are you a member of TUHH interesting in signing an agreement with a university worldwide?

If you are planning a cooperation with a partner from abroad including research work and / or the exchange of students / PhD Students, a cooperation agreement can be signed on the university level or by a school or an institute. As a general rule, agreements are signed by the school after an approval by their board of study.  If more than two schools of studies are interested in a collaboration, an agreement on the university level including all schools might be useful. You might use the following documents: General Agreement / Agreement on Student Exchange. If you are interested in signing an ERASMUS+ Student and Staff Mobility in the programme generation 2021-2027, the institutional Erasmus coordinator will sign an IIA (Interinstitutional Agreement) after the board of study has accepted the cooperation. In order to support you with the administrative process and all matters concerning the student exchange programmes, please involve the Department of International Affairs as early as possible.

Are you a representative form a university interested in signing an agreement with us?

For new agreements and university partnerships, it is very important to involve / contact TU Hamburg professors and academic staff, because they will be responsible for the academic part of any exchange or research cooperation. In addition, they would be responsible for the study programme, research proposals and matters of recognition. New agreements will only be supported by the university board if a school or institute is actively involved with a partner institution. If you are interested in projects with us it is advisable to contact research departments and institutes directly at www.tuhh.de/tuhh/en/schools/institutes.html
