Information on the previous knowledge and prerequisites in mathematics required for a study program in engineering sciences can be obtained through the test MINTFIT.HAMBURG, which is available online and free of charge.
You can brush up your knowledge in mathematics and prepare yourself systematically for the requirements in mathematics of a study program in engineering sciences through the Online Mathematics Bridging Course OMB+ and the video-based interactive preparatory course ViaMINT, which are available online and free of charge.

As part of the Taster Days (please see above), TUHH offers the Parent Talk, a group counseling session for parents of prospective students. During this session, student counselors answer questions with respect to choosing a study program or university, job perspectives and other topics.
With participation of the TUHH, the Federal Employment Agency in Hamburg provides information on job training and study opportunities as well as on services for further information and counseling to prospective graduates of high-schools in Hamburg and their parents once a year at the Update Eltern event.
