Who is this service aimed at?
Our service is aimed at international students at TUHH who wish to prepare for internships, part-time student jobs, starting their careers, or settling in Germany long-term. Students who are still in the early stages of planning their careers are also very welcome.
How to take part
You can sign up for workshops or book a one-to-one consultation. During the consultation, we’ll discuss your application documents, your goals and the best next steps for you.
One-on-one counseling
We can advise you on your application documents, career planning and your personal strategy for entering the German job market. This advice will help you plan your next steps more clearly.
Workshops
Our workshops are designed to prepare you specifically for the job application process in Germany. Topics include CVs, cover letters, job interviews and the expectations of employers in Germany.
Learning German
Newly designed German language courses guide you through the stages of job hunting, applying for roles and starting your career. They also help you develop intercultural skills.
Alumni & Career Talk
In our Alumni & Career Talks, international graduates share their experiences of entering the German job market. You’ll gain genuine insights and practical tips straight from the source.
Networking events
We connect international students with companies that have an open corporate culture and are committed to the professional development of their international staff.
Certificate programme „Agile Project Management & Leadership“
Since the 2024/25 winter semester, the Career Centre has been offering a new certificate programme entitled ‘Agile Project Management & Leadership’. As part of the ‘Fishing for Experience’ initiative, you can put agile project management into practice on real-world projects from companies and earn a micro-credential worth 4 ECTS credits.
