The ECIU University is an innovative educational project at the European level, supported by the ECIU network and its 12 European partners. It is open to students, researchers, and society across national borders, working together to find solutions to relevant societal challenges.
A key element is the learner-centered learning format "Challenge-Based Learning" (CBL). The focus of the teaching/learning offerings at ECIU University lies in engaging with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Collaboration within cross-university, interdisciplinary, and intercultural teams is supported by the ECIU platform ENGAGE.

The second ECIU University Forum just wrapped up at the University of Trento, bringing over 230 learners, teachers, researchers staff and stakeholders for two days of discussions and community building.

Our annual job fair “Career Forum” will take place on Wednesday, 14.05.2025 from 14:00 to 18:00 in Building A (TUHH main building). Students and graduates can engage in spontaneous conversations at company stands or participate in individual one-on-one interviews with prior registration. In addition to company talks, the forum will offer: Application checks Professional application photo sessions Free snacks and coffee Over 100 jobs in top companies are available, and the job wall is continuously being updated—so check back often and register early! Parallel to the Career Forum, the “Go Abroad Fair” will take place in LuK, giving students a fantastic opportunity to learn more about international experiences. The ECIU team will be present with their own booth, where students can connect with peers who have participated in ECIU Learning Opportunities and gain valuable insight into going abroad during their studies. Students from ECIU joined a 3-day AI Hackathon in Tampere, Finland, at the Tampere university, creating AI and VR solutions to enhance student life. Led by Parimala from TUHH, one team won Best Prototype, reflecting the event’s spirit of teamwork, innovation, and hands-on learning.
