The INFOTHEK of the Student Counseling Center is available in person (room E0.013 and E0.022, building E) or by phone (040/ 428 78 2232) on Mon + Wed 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Tues + Thurs 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Please note that questions regarding application/registration/exmatriculation/your student data etc. must be clarified with STUDIS. Questions regarding examinations can be answered by the examination office.

 

 

General Student Counseling and
Psychological Counseling [OVERVIEW]

The Student Counseling Center offers students information, orientation and advice on their studies - also in English language. Students may refer to the Student Counseling Center in case of personal matters or problems as well as with study-related questions.

It holds customized study advisory sessions in the form of group or individual appointments and also provides psychological counseling. The individual counseling sessions are also available in English language.

The Student Counseling Center organizes a variety of large-scale study information events and provides a wide range of up-to-date information on studying at TUHH in the Infothek.

Furthermore, it offers StartING@TUHH, a tutor-supported program to help students settle in to their studies at TUHH. The Student Counseling Center also supports students on their way to successful graduation, with offers like information events, workshops/presentations and individual coaching.

Complaints office under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) of the Technical University of Hamburg

The aim of the AGG (https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/agg/) is to prevent or eliminate discrimination based on ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity. The AGG Complaints Office receives complaints of discrimination based on one or more characteristics protected under the AGG, reviews them, and, in cases classified as discrimination under the AGG, forwards recommendations for sanctions and measures to the responsible authorities.
