Digitalisation and Change Management Unit

A modern, effective and future-oriented administration is the backbone of an actively and successfully researching and teaching university. In the course of administrative modernisation, the Digitalisation and Change Management Unit aims to improve the speed, transparency, quality and efficiency of administrative processes in a perceptible and sustainable way. It reports directly to the Chancellor.

The members of the staff unit are responsible for identifying, systematising and prioritising digitalisation potential. They initiate and actively support corresponding projects, manage projects and communicate with the relevant stakeholders. The staff unit is also responsible for the introduction and implementation of professional change management, with a particular focus on validating processes and communicating changes. Its tasks include supporting and designing cross-divisional transformation and change processes as well as planning and conducting organisational studies.

The staff unit's projects include

  •     Administrative reform Mo.Ve - Modern administration
  •     Development of an intranet for the TU Hamburg
  •     Introduction of an occupational health and safety management system (AMS)
  •     Introduction of a document management system (DMS)
  •     Introduction of the electronic personnel file
