Events of the Career Center

Every semester, the Career Center offers numerous events and workshops on the topics of career orientation, career entry and profile building. Here you can, for example, get helpful tips on applying for jobs, practice job interviews with us, find out about career prospects or get to know interesting companies as well as build up interdisciplinary skills. Semester program

The semester program provides many workshops and lectures on topics such as job search, application procedures and self-presentation in the application process. There are also events where you can meet companies.

Job fair Career Forum

At the Career Forum job fair, students and graduates can make contact with companies and find out about entry-level opportunities, trainee programs, internships and part-time jobs during their studies, for example.

Career paths TUHH@"company"

In this lecture series, the Career Center, in cooperation with TU & YOU, enables you to visit companies and organizations where TUHH alumni work. You will learn first-hand about their work content and daily work routine, receive a guided tour of the company if applicable, and talk to HR managers about possible entry-level positions in the company.

stellenwerk Jobmesse Hamburg

At the stellenwerk job fair on the campus of the University of Hamburg, you will find a lot of companies and can make helpful contacts for your professional future. Free speed coaching, makeovers for a free application photo, a CV maker and tips at the Career Center stand round off the offer.

TUHH Alumni & Career Talk

The Career Center and TU & YOU would like to bring students and alumni together in a panel discussion and jointly discuss career topics.

Participants will get to know role models and learn from practical examples and models of professional identities how career entry and career can succeed. In addition, students and alumni can make contacts at this event and gain new impulses.

The TUHH Alumni & Career Talk takes place once a semester and is dedicated to different industries or topics, such as aviation, environment and energy, start-ups, international students, life science technologies and logistics.

Kursbestimmung - wo will ich hin? (Workshop in German language)

This workshop takes place every semester and is aimed at students who are about to complete their bachelor's or master's degree and are considering what direction to take next. With methodical guidance, participants can take a look back, become aware of their own resources, and learn about and use new resources. The event takes place in German.
