Description of the company
Danfoss is a Danish multinational engineering company that develops energy-efficient technologies.
Situation
Today vendor is servicing all our servers in our data centers. The infrastructure group has decided to pull certain services from the vendor to in house model to benefit from more operational control, resilience, speed and cost savings.
Problem
Mixed service delivery model for server operations, provided by internal resources and vendor outsourcing.
Aims of the project
Establish a Danfoss-owned server operations capability for OS & backup, executed through a controlled transition.
Target group (students)
We are looking for students who have knowledge & experience in:
- Data storage and Data centers,
- housing of IT infrastructure
- server architecture, server operations
- Strong support model building skills
