Award for TUHH team
MicroHarvest wins the Hamburg Founder Award 2026 in the “Startup Category” category.
Great news for Hamburg-based startup MicroHarvest: At this year’s Hamburg Founder Award, the company was honored in the “Startup Category”. The award recognizes young companies that stand out with their business ideas and entrepreneurial drive.
MicroHarvest is developing sustainable protein solutions based on microorganisms. The company’s technological development began at the Institute of Technical Microbiology at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). MicroHarvest is therefore a strong example of how research at TUHH can lead to a successful startup.
Congratulations to the entire MicroHarvest team on this well-deserved achievement!
