Starting today, research projects from universities across Hamburg will be displayed on digital billboards. From Wednesday onwards, Ströer's info screens will show content from the “Science made in Hamburg” website. The website presents research projects from Hamburg's university landscape that have a directly visible benefit for society in so-called Societal Impact Stories. In the future, the info screens will show new content from “Science made in Hamburg” every 14 days as an image or short video with a headline. The topics come from all state universities in Hamburg. The posts will always be visible for three days from Wednesday to Friday, alternating with other content from Ströer – at the platforms and stations of S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, on streets and at traffic lights, and in shopping centers. Competition To kick things off, there's also something to be won: Anyone who manages to photograph one of the “Science made in Hamburg” posts on one of the info screens (or even better: a selfie with the screen in the background!) can share the picture until Monday, October 27, either on the LinkedIn account of “Science made in Hamburg” in the comments under the post about the Ströer launch. Or send it by email to the “Science made in Hamburg” editorial team: stefanie.hentschel(at)tuhh(dot)de. Please include where the picture was taken! Ten umbrellas with the TUHH logo will be raffled off among all entries, in keeping with the autumn season. The “Science made in Hamburg” project is sponsored by the Claussen-Simon Foundation and the Alfred Toepfer Foundation F.V.S. Ströer is one of Germany's leading media companies and is active in the areas of outdoor and online advertising, among others.
