The Student Council BU is reviving an old tradition and awarding three prizes for the best courses at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (BU) for the winter semester 2024/25.
The challenge cup for the Bachelor of Civil and Environmental Engineering has been awarded once a semester by our student council for almost 20 years as a prize for the best Bachelor course in the BaU Bachelor. For the winter semester 2024 / 25, it went to Prof. Oesterle for his lecture with recitation section ‘Structural Analysis III’.
Dr.-Ing. Adrian Faron for his seminar ‘Concrete Structures’ in the Master's programme in Civil Engineering and Lukas Huhn for his course ‘Water Protection’ in the Master's programme in Water and Environmental Engineering were also each presented with a certificate.
The award winners are selected via an online survey sent out by the Student Council to students of Civil and Environmental Engineering by email. Respondents can grade all the events they attended according to school grades and optionally emphasise special features with free text.
