Take an example from high-performance sports and join our bootcamp! The prep course prepares you to hit the ground running in your course of study. We recommend joining as many events as possible, since they are hand chosen depending on your course of study and the topics you will encounter in the first semester.

The prep courses in Mathematics range from the basics like the rules of arithmetic to functions and the basics of discrete mathematics. We strongly suggest participating to make sure all the basics are covered before your first lectures in mathematics, since some topics aren't taught everywhere, or they were taught so long ago, you need to refresh your memory. Even if you don't learn something new, it is a great change to get to know the campus and your fellow students.

Furthermore, there are prep courses in informatics in which first steps to writing your own code are taught, as well as setting up the tool chain required for this. We especially recommend this to students with little to no experience of using operating systems, as well as git and VSCode.
