On 2 October 2026, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the TUHH will bring together representatives from business, academia and politics as part of the event ‘Future Technologies for Hamburg’. The keynote speech, ‘Humanoid Robotics and Embodied AI: The Next (R)Evolutionary Stage in Production” will be delivered by Prof. Schüppstuhl (Head of M-23, Aircraft Production Engineering at the TUHH). The President of the TUHH will take part in a political and strategic discussion alongside Dr Putz (Hamburg Chamber of Commerce) and State Councillor Dr Gümbel to explore how humanoid robotics is revolutionising our economy.
Following a break offering opportunities for networking and a presentation on innovative robotics applications, Prof. Smarsly from the School for Civil and Environmental Engineering will focus attention on current developments and the potential of construction robotics, and demonstrate selected robotic applications for the construction industry.
