The Hunte Bridge, part of the A29 motorway east of Oldenburg, spans the Hunte, a tributary of the Weser. Built in 1978 and measuring 441 metres in length, the bridge is unable to cope with the traffic volumes forecast for the future. The existing bridge has been dismantled and is currently being rebuilt. A LinkedIn post about the field trip will be published on the institute’s page shortly.
