The aim of the Graduate Academy for Technology and Innovation at Hamburg University of Technology is to offer young scientists an ideal environment in which they can develop into independent and future-oriented researchers in line with their individual needs.
In coordination with the scientific units and taking existing offerings into account, the Graduate Academy serves as an umbrella organization for all doctoral candidates and postdocs at the TUHH, regardless of their respective qualification contexts. It pools information, offers advice, provides interdisciplinary qualification opportunities, and thus creates added value for young scientists at the TUHH as well as for their supervisors.
ARE YOU A RESEARCHER? WE CAN SUPPORT YOU!
Tutech as a partner to science
With Tutech, you can concentrate fully on your research: We support you in applying for third-party funding and commercializing your inventions; we search for suitable industrial partners for you and take care of the economic and legal aspects of your research collaborations; we provide you with active and committed support in turning your research into concrete applications.
As a start-up center, we promote entrepreneurship at Hamburg University of Technology.
Based on the insight that innovations and new approaches often arise at the boundaries between disciplines, the research structure at TUHH is designed to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among scientists.
For this reason, the research structure is not defined by faculties or departments, but is divided into five overarching research fields.
Within these research fields, the substructures described below support a lively and diverse research environment at the TUHH.
With TORE, TU Hamburg operates an integrated research information system, open access, and research data repository.
