Financial Aid for finalising the degree (sponsorig body DAAD)

Who can apply:

International Students of TUHH who are in need of financial help and

who have already finished at least one semester
with good/very good academic records

Scope and form of the financial aid:

The aid will be granted for a maximum period of 6 months.
Income through students jobs, financial support from family or spouses and other non-monetary prerequisits (e.g. rent-free accommodation) will be deducted from the full scholarship amount.

Merit scholarship for international students financed from sources of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (BWFGB)

The Department International Affairs of the TUHH is calling for applications for scholarships for good academic performance by international students who have already finished at least one semester.

Funding period

The scholarship will be awarded for up to 5 months: August to December 2026.

Selection criteria

This funding is targeted to support international students who:

perform significantly higher than their peers,
have been studying for at least one semester and have obtained course credits or passed exams during this period (at least 3 graded examinations are required)
do not receive any other form of public funding.
