Welcome @TUHH: Orientation and Networking

The Welcome Program provides support at the beginning of the studies as well as by the integration into campus life.

The Programm includes:

• Welcome Weeks include tutorials on study organization, information sessions with key details about studying at TUHH, and a variety of guided tours in Hamburg and Get-Togethers.
• Semester Program offers additional exciting events and excursions within Germany, providing deeper insights into the country's cultural characteristics, politics, and history.
• Intercultural Hub offers communication training tailored for all TUHH students and hosts regular meet-ups, themed evenings, and informal gatherings designed to foster intercultural exchange and build meaningful connections across cultures. The Hub is your space to develop key intercultural competencies that support your studies, career, and international engagement.
• Tutor´s support: The Welcome Tutors, who are well-acquainted with studying at TUHH and life in Hamburg, are there to assist you. They offer various meeting points and give practical advice on study organization or exam preparation tips.

The Welcome Weeks Program is focused on your special situation of being new at TUHH. Our team will be able to assist you on your arrival in Hamburg and to help you get off to a good start on your study courses.

Our events, and intercultural activities facilitate social integration, communication and exchange among all students on campus. The city tours and excursions to different regions in Germany round off the program and give you the opportunity to get valuable insights into various facets of the country.
