Yesterday, we were excited to host the official kick-off meeting of our new joint NWO-DFG project on fluidized bed technology for the regeneration of hydrogen-based iron fuel at Technische Universität Hamburg!
It was a great pleasure to welcome our project partners from Eindhoven University of Technology, including PI Yali Tang and postdoctoral researcher Mohsen Rahimi-Larki, Ph.D.. On our side, the project will be driven by Lennard Lindmüller, an experienced researcher from our SPE team. We were also very happy to have Nicola Vanzetto and Arie Huijgen joining us – colleagues with whom we already collaborate in another project. Thomas Lichtenegger from JKU Linz joined us remotely, adding further expertise closely related to the project.
The day was filled with great discussions on the upcoming work packages, scientific exchange and new ideas for the project ahead. Of course, a visit to our institute would not be complete without a tour through our laboratories, providing insights into our experimental facilities and ongoing research.
A fantastic start to this new collaboration – we are very much looking forward to the joint work and the next steps!
