Congratulations to Dr. Kathrin Kramm on receiving the Karl H. Ditze Prize!
We are proud to share that our former colleague Kathrin Kramm has been awarded the Karl H. Ditze Prize by TU Hamburg for the best doctoral thesis of the year 2025.
Kathrin's research, carried out at our institute in collaboration with Nestlé addressed an important challenge: improving the dissolution of plant-based milk powders. By combining targeted particle design, experimental investigations, and mathematical modeling, she developed porous agglomerate structures that significantly enhance wetting and dissolution while enabling the transfer of the process from laboratory to industrial scale.
We are delighted to see Kathrin's outstanding scientific work recognized with this prestigious award. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement, dear Kathrin!
