For the first time, the plenary assembly of the Fakultätentag Informatik e.V. (Association of Computer Science Departments at German Universities, FTI) took place at TU Hamburg on Friday, November 21st. The School of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics had already committed to hosting the 2025 plenary assembly upon joining the council in 2023.
More than 60 participants, including delegates from FTI member and guest universities, FTI partners in science, as well as high-ranking representatives of the German Council of Science and Humanities, the German University Association, and the Accreditation Council, accepted the invitation of the FTI chair Prof. Dr. Gerald Lüttgen (University of Bamberg) and addressed an extensive agenda. The panels dealt with topics such as "Personnel Structures at Universities," "Department Structures in Computer Science," and "Developments in Accreditation."
