Part of our team is currently attending the Annual Meeting of the DECHEMA/VDI groups on Multiphase Flows, Agglomeration and Bulk Solids, and CFD in Dresden. The Agglomeration and Bulk Solids expert group is chaired by our institute's head Stefan Heinrich. Our team enjoys three days full of exciting discussions, new research insights, and great networking with colleagues from academia and industry.
Our institute is contributing several presentations and posters:
Talks
- "Detection and Machine Learning Modelling of Spray Nozzle Blockage Anomalies in Fluidized Bed Spray Granulation" - Katharina Mohrdieck
- "CFD-DEM simulations of vibrated fluidized beds and comparison with real-time MRI measurements" - Nick Hildebrandt
- "Identification of the mechanical parameters of frozen particle fluid systems using adaptive AI-based surrogate modelling" - Amirali Khosrozadeh
- "A DoE-based population balance model for fluidized bed spray heteroagglomeration" - Jhoan Sebastian Giraldo Yepes
