VERDIKA - Cross-Linked Digital Cabin (Vernetzte Digitale Kabine)

With a view to ever shorter product development cycles, increasing market variety and production ramp-ups, the project VERDIKA aims to significantly advance the connection and digitalisation of the aircraft cabin, starting with the design, through production and installation, and for the product itself.

The aim of the sub-project being worked on by the PKT is to reduce the customer-specific "head of version" costs through a digital end-to-end customisation process. The technological-scientific work is intended to bring the life phases from design to production and installation until the use of the cabin closer together. Furthermore occuring dependencies that arise in earlier life phases are taken into account. To this end, research is being conducted into continuous automated processes and tools that support consistent digital development based on a holistic metamodel.
