Christmas Market Munich 11. Dezember 2024

We want to take the opportunity at the end of the year to get together again. On Wednesday, 11 December 2024, we invite you to one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Munich, the Christmas Village in the Residenz! In the courtyard of the Residenz, we can enjoy the historic ambience and festive atmosphere together.

We will meet on 11 December 2024 at 18:00 at the entrance to the Kaiserhof of the Residenz.

Your family members, friends and acquaintances are very welcome. We look forward to seeing you!

Four professionally successful TUHH alumni shared on 26.11.2024 their individual learnings with regard to starting a career in Germany.

Homecoming 2024

Together with the Northern Institute of Technology (NIT), TU Hamburg celebrated its fifth alumni homecoming on 20 and 21 September. Our silver jubilarians also celebrated their 25th reunion. There was a lot of reminiscing, dancing and laughter. A campus tour and an excellent barbeque rounded off the evening. On Saturday, the festivities continued at the Empire Riverside Hotel.

 

Alumni Event Cologne

On 4th September 2024, the Alumni Association of TU Hamburg hosted a technical brewery tour at BRAUWELT Köln. There, the participants were given an insight into the oldest Kölsch brewery in the world. There was a lively exchange between the TU Hamburg alumni and the employees of BRAUWELT Köln.

 

Alumni Event Istanbul

On March 14, 2024, Vera Lindenlaub and her colleague Nicole Frey (Head of the International Office) were guests in Istanbul. They not only visited the German school Alkev ÖzeL Okullari but also the TUHH's partner university Istanbul Teknik Üniversitesi. The trip was rounded off with a visit to the German Consulate, where they were welcomed by Consul Rüdiger Kappes.

Talk Around the World

Am 13.12.2023 erklärte uns Professor Tim Schweisfurth, dass Innovationsprozesse heute anders funktionieren als früher. Organisationen können so gestaltet werden, dass Innovation verteilt und kollaborativ gelingen kann. Auch Alumnus Heiko Lübben berichtete von seiner Arbeit in der es ebenso um Innovationsprozesse und die Verbesserung von Organisationsstrukturen und Kollaboration geht und zeigt auf, wie erfolgreich positive Veränderungen für Menschen bewirkt werden können.

Talk Around the World

On November 8, 2023, Prof. Christian Thies reported on hydrogen as an alternative fuel and alumnus Arnd Schirrmann reported on his career path from the TUHH to the Airbus Group.

On November 7, 2023, the Career Center, TU & YOU, the Dean of Studies Management Sciences and Technology discussed career paths and career entry together with students and alumni of the TUHH.

 

14.09.2023: Sparkling Thursday

Exchange, networking, empowering: Host Petra Vorsteher, TU Hamburg Ambassador and founder of AI.HAMBURG, warmly invited us and over a sparkling drink with a view of the Inner Alster, we discussed why networking is so important and how you can make networks successful for yourself can use. First Meeting in Bangalore!

In September, Dr. Stephan Buse from the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management met with alumni from Technische Universität Hamburg in Bangalore. The first meeting was met with much enthusiasm and interest in holding regular alumni meetings in India.
 

Alumni Chapter Munich: Hiking around the Schliersee

On July 9th, 2023, Arsalan & Ezgi from the Munich Chapter invited us to a great tour around the Schliersee in Bavaria. This day was great and very impressive.

 

Alumni Chapter - Kick Off

On March 30th, 2023, the Alumni Chapter Hamburg received further management support. Together with Sohrab Shojaei Khatouni, Kai Kiehn will now deepen the relationship between the members and their alma mater through networking on a social, professional and scientific level.

 

 

 

Alumni-Tour DESY

On March 22th, 2023 we visited the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY) in Bahrenfeld. Our alumna Sibel Yasar invited us to a great, informative tour.

 

Alumni-Meeting Munich

Travel through space and time in a “peacock chariot”? We experienced this time travel adventure on March 18, 2023 with Time Ride, took to the skies and experienced 7,000 years of history over what is now Bavaria.

 

 

Alumni Meeting in New York

On March 16th, 2023, TU Hamburg Alumni met in New York for delicious food and drinks at Eat Offbeat, Chelsea Market.
