PhD candidate Jana Ihrens and Professor Thorsten A. Kern from the Institute for Mechatronics in Mechanics have worked together with PhD candidate Kathrin Eckert and Professor Irina Smirnova from the Institute for Thermal Separation Processes at the Hamburg University of Technology on structuring of electrorheological fluids in polymer matrices for miniature actuators.

Uta Riedel, Koordinatorin des Programms, begrüßte den sechsten Jahrgang des Orientierungsstudiums am Montag, den 07.10.2024 an der TU Hamburg. Die Studierenden erhielten hier erstmalig die Gelegenheit sich untereinander kennen zu lernen und nun gemeinsam einen aufregenden neuen Lebensabschnitt zu beginnen.

Building on the ongoing cooperation between our institute, ESA and NASA, Teresa Algarra recently visited the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) to meet with representatives from NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The meeting focused on advancements in DTN, exploring potential collaborative projects, and preparations for the upcoming CCSDS Fall meetings. Thank you to the NASA MSFC team for visiting us in Germany and for the productive discussions! We look forward to strengthening these partnerships and continuing our work on DTN.
