Since the summer semester of 2016, companies, associations, foundations and private individuals have also been able to support talented and committed students with scholarships at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH): The Deutschlandstipendium of 300 euros per month is funded half by the federal government and half by private sponsors. The university bears the costs of organizing and awarding the scholarships. In this way, we want to jointly support bright minds and young talents in their studies. With an annual contribution of 2,000 euros, you finance one scholarship holder. Smaller individual amounts are added together until a one-year scholarship can be financed.
Who is sponsored?
The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and high-achieving students of the TU Hamburg with 300 euros per month. The scholarship is independent of income and is awarded across all disciplines. In addition to previous performance at school and in studies, social commitment and special personal achievements are also taken into account in the selection process.

For example, you can use internship opportunities, study projects or your company presentation to arouse interest in your company in a targeted manner. We will be happy to support you in this.
Take part in the scholarship selection process and in events of the scholarship program.
In addition, you automatically become part of the TU Hamburg Foundation Network with all its added value, because the Foundation for the Promotion of the TU Hamburg is the central contact for the scholarship providers. In this way, you expand your contacts in the metropolitan region and become part of the exchange with the TU Hamburg and its research projects.
Last but not least: you can claim your sponsorship against tax.
Your possibilities:
You take over several scholarships (2,000 euros per year). You can sponsor specific courses of study and act as an advisor in the selection of the student.
You take over a scholarship of 2,000 euros per year for the duration of at least one year.
You make a one-time or regular donation to the Deutschlandstipendienfonds of the TU Hamburg.
All donations for the Deutschlandstipendium are forwarded to the TU Hamburg by the Stiftung zur Förderung der TU Hamburg. Of the 2,000 Euro annual amount, our scholarship holders receive 150 Euro/month. With the federal government's share, this amount increases to 300 euros/month.
