In accordance with our guiding principle, we do not primarily see our task in management teaching as the transmission of techniques or rules. In addition to teaching the necessary basics, we try to give students as complex a picture of (strategic) management as possible and to sensitize them to relevant influencing factors. This is done both theoretically and, for example, by integrating case studies or a strategic planning game. Using these vehicles, we try to help our students to develop a differentiated understanding and problem-solving awareness in the sense of situational thinking in as practical a manner as possible. This demonstrates the usefulness of theories in a very practical way!
