Teaching in winter term 2025/26

Status: 10.10.2025

Dates: To participate in the following courses, students must register via Stud.IP. First day of lectures: 13.10.2024, last day of lectures: 31.01.2026 (holidays from 21.12.2025 to 04.01.2026). Please note further information on the websites of the individual courses. The following data was taken from TUNE (as of 19.09.2025). Call up current data under TUNE.

Restructuring of courses in the Master's degree program: Students should inform themselves independently about the composition of the modules in the module handbook relevant to their cohort. The composition of the modules will not be changed retrospectively for older cohorts! All examinations will continue to be offered for all cohorts. The implementation of the courses and examinations is based on the current cohort WiSe 2021/22 (see table). If you have any questions regarding this topic, please contact Ms. Elnaz Hadjiloo.

Current and future changes of courses offered

  • Module “Geotechnics III”: from winter semester 2025/26 “Advanced Foundation Engineering” is the only course in this module containing VL, HÜ and SE (the former course “Numerical Methods in Geotechnics” has moved to the module “Soil Mechanics and Soil Dynamics”, see next item
  • Module “Soil Mechanics and Soil Dynamics”: from summer term 2026 the courses “Numerical Methods in Geotechnics” (3 SWS), Selected Topics in Soil Mechanics (1 SWS), and “Soil Dynamics” (2 SWS) are included – the course “Experimental Research in Geotechnics” will not be held any longer

Type of courses: VL = lecture, HÜ = classroom exercise, GÜ = group exercise, PR = practical course, SE = seminar, EX = excursion
