Continuation of the Renewable Energies degree program (REMS)

The VT degree program in Renewable Energies (REMS) is to be merged with the MB degree program in Energy Technology in the winter semester of 2026. There will then be a specialization in the field of renewable energies. Whether this will actually take place has not yet been finalized.

I would like to enroll in REMS for the summer semester. Is this still possible?

You can start to study REMS until the start of the next Wintersemester. Then there will be consecutivity to the Energytechnology Master programm.

I am already enrolled in REMS. Can I continue studying?

Yes, the lectures will continue to take place.

Is REMS getting completly abolished?

REMS will not be abolished, but merged with Energy Technology. The content of the degree program will hopefully remain unchanged.

Do I now have to complete my studies within the standard period of study?

No, REMS is offered for the remaining standard period of study and 4 additional semesters.
