VT Day

We would like to cordially invite you to the Process Engineering Day on July 9, 2026. We have invited interesting companies from the process engineering sector to introduce themselves in short presentations and then engage in conversation with you. We, as the Student Council, will provide you with delicious vegan/vegetarian barbecue food and fresh draft beer from the Campusperle.

 

The schedule is as follows:

  • 1:00–1:15 PM Opening – News from the Department of Process Engineering (Dean Prof. Gescher)
  • 1:15–1:30 PM Introduction to our new V12 Institute (Prof. Löffler)
  • 1:30–2:00 PM Bachelor’s Degree Award Ceremony (Prof. Liese)
  • 2:00–2:45 PM Poster session and thesis exchange (Ph.D. students from the Department of Chemical Engineering present their projects and potential topics for Bachelor’s and Master’s theses)
  • 3:00–6:00 PM Companies present themselves and the work environment for process engineers
  • 3:00–3:15 PM Evonik (Prof. Wilfried Blümke)
  • 3:15–3:30 PM Freyer Bioinsight (Prof. Stephan Freyer)
  • 3:30–3:45 PM Aurubis (Dr. Harald Wiehler)
