Wetter.Wasser.Waterkant took place again this year between September 28 and October 7 in Hamburg. The WWW program is aimed at school students and deals with the topics of sustainability, climate and social change. Since process engineering is also essential for the development of sustainable production processes, the Process Engineering Department is also represented at WWW and gives students an insight into process engineering. Compared to last year, the process engineering workshop was in much higher demand, so that we were able to welcome a total of 22 school classes at the TUHH.

In the past years, Max was working on his PhD thesis in the Algorithms and Complexity Group at Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. At the Institute of Algorithms and Complexity, his research focuses the development of efficient/approximation algorithms for scheduling problems and integer programming We wish him best of success!

Between 25.09. and 28.09. the 4th International Symposium on Multiscale Multiphase Process Engineering (MMPE) took place in Berlin. Numerous lectures and posters of the IMS were presented at the international conference.

Baldur Schroeter has won the poster award at the 6th International Seminar on Aerogels 2022! His poster entitled "Transparent cellulose aerogels from concentrated salt solutions" convinced the jury in a selection from 64 contributions. Congratulations!
