We welcome a new PhD student, Sebastian Bielfeldt, at our institute.
Sebastian studied Physics in Frankfurt and Utrecht and wrote his master thesis on molecular dynamics simulations of dissolved ions in quasi two dimensional enviroments. He joins us via the "DASHH – Data Science in Hamburg – Helmholtz Graduate School for the Structure of Matter" Graduate School program and in collaboration with Henry Chapman at DESY. His research will focus on developing new algorithmic approaches in macromolecular x-ray crystallography.
