Our PhD student Kathrin Marina Eckert has the award for the Best Oral Presentation at the "2nd International Seminar on Modelling, Simulation and Machine Learning for the Rapid Development of Porous Materials" in Madrid, Spain. Her talk about the work in our CRC Smart Reactors was entitled "Unveiling the Thermodynamics of Stimuli-Responsive Gels: A COSMO-RS and Molecular Dynamics Study". Congratulations!

Gemeinsam mit Alexa Böckel, Doktorandin an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, haben Luise Degen und Johanna Zeller Anfang 2022 das Netzwerk „Circular Economy (CE) PhD Group” ins Leben gerufen. Die Gruppe ist ein interdisziplinäres Netzwerk für Wissenschaftler*innen verschiedenster Fachrichtungen, die im Rahmen ihrer Doktorarbeit im Bereich der Kreislaufwirtschaft forschen. Die CE PhD Group bietet eine Plattform für alles rund um das Thema CE-Forschung - ob es zum Beispiel um die Vorstellung neuer Papers, die Diskussion neuer Forschungsfelder oder um Konferenzbeiträge und -empfehlungen geht, die Interessen und Inhalte der Gruppe sind breit gefächert. Wir treffen uns alle zwei Monate digital für 1,5h, um diese Themen zu diskutieren. Wenn auch du im Bereich CE promovierst und dich in diesem Feld austauschen möchtest, wende dich bitte an Luise Degen (luise.degen@tuhh.de) oder Johanna Zeller (johanna.zeller@tuhh.de).
