Aviation as Field of Application

Within the field of application aviation the PKT conducts research mainly regarding the integration and assembly of aircraft-cabins and the development of cabin components as well as the testing of structures regarding the dimensioning of products. Additionally, new technologies and workflows to improve the respective digital engineering processes are explorated.

  • eKabKlima - Efficient cabin technologies for a climate-neutral aircraft; since 2022:
    The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) as part of the sixth Federal Aeronautical Research Programm (LUFO VI-3). In cooperation with Airbus, Diehl Aviation, SFS Group, DLR and IFPT.
