The Institute for Environmental Technology and Energy Economics sets great value upon teaching. Beschreibung:
The cultivation and reprocessing techniques are shown, using the example of the production of an enzyme with a recombinant microorganism. Furthermore the characterisation and simulation of the enzyme kinetics as well as the application of the enzyme in an enzyme reactor will be performed. Experiments: - Set-up of a bioreactor for the cultivation of microorganisms - Characterisation and regulation of the cultivation process with offline-analytics and online-measuring techniques - Cultivation of a recombinant E. coli strain with overexpression of an enzyme - Analysis of the growth kinetics - Isolation and purification of the enzyme - Kinetic characterisation of the enzyme - Simulation of enzyme kinetics - Application of the enzyme in a continuous reactor

Written protocol of every experiment. Schriftliches Protokoll zu jedem Experiment.
