Lecture series of the Scientific Society for Product Development (WiGeP)

How can sustainable product development succeed in mechanical engineering? The NaPe - Sustainable Product Development lecture series brings students and leading professors from all over Germany together digitally every year. Current research results and practical methods for resource-saving and sustainable product development are presented in 13 exciting lectures.
Anyone who wants to actively shape the future of mechanical engineering will gain well-founded specialist knowledge, new perspectives and direct access to a unique network of experts from the Scientific Society for Product Development (WiGeP).

  • Design knowledge for the circular economy
  • Material selection and lightweight construction for sustainability
  • Tribology for efficient drive systems
  • Social sustainability in product development
  • Digital technologies for sustainability assessment
  • Data-based decision support in development
