• explain basic operating principles and modes of operation of machine elements
• explain requirements, selection criteria, application scenarios and practical examples of simple machine elements

After successfully passing the module, students will be able to:

• Perform design calculations of treated machine elements
• transfer knowledge learned in the module to new requirements and tasks (problem-solving competence)
• to understand technical drawings and sketches of principles
• evaluate simple constructions technically

• Students are able to exchange ideas about technical content within the framework of activating methods in the lecture.

• Students can independently deepen the knowledge they have acquired in exercises.
• Students are able, for example, to use the lecture recording to work through and repeat content they have not yet understood.

• Representation of technical objects and preparation of manufacturing documents (technical drawing).
