Determinants of Job Satisfaction in Aging Workforces


This project aims at analyzing the determinants of older employees’ job satisfaction, by answering the following research questions:

  • What drives the job satisfaction of the elderly and how do determinants differ when compared to other age groups?
  • Are there subgroup differences due to the influence of socio-demographic variables (income, education, etc.)?
  • What might be an appropriate theoretical foundation when analyzing age and job satisfaction?
