Research

Project: GIGA 

The aim of the GIGA project is to develop a robot-based modular galvanization process with integrated inline process monitoring for the supply of relevant aircraft components. The research project aims to automate the galvanization process for small batch sizes, increase coating quality and reduce waste.

Within the project, my specific responsibilities include completing and refining the deflectometric measurement set-up to effectively analyze specular surfaces.
