Doctoral defense of M.Sc. Stanislav Samis : On 05.05.2023 Stanislav Samis defended successfully his dissertation with the title „Comparison of CaN-Technologies and Their Potential for High Power Amplification at K-/Ka-Band“.

Impressively he explained his topic about the use of semiconductor amplifiers in sattelitetransmitter at the K- and Ka-band.
The semiconductor components can replace the typically used tube amplifiers in sattelites and thus allow for distribution networks which require less redundancy. For this multiple  technologies were examined and different chips where produced and tested.
Congratulations to this great achievement!
