Future-oriented research at BEEM: Welcoming Roya Zeidler!

The course for tomorrow's sustainable construction industry is being set today – and we are right in the thick of it. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Roya Zeidler as she joins the ranks of BEEM!

Roya is employed with us through the DFG priority program "Net-Zero Concrete" (SPP 2436). This program explores groundbreaking solutions for the development of climate-neutral concrete. A central building block of this effort is Roya's work in Subproject P12: Under the title "Microanalytical and microstructural investigations on the hardening and carbonation behavior of activated clay-based materials," she will analyze the microstructure of novel, clay-based binders.

We wish Roya a highly successful start and look forward to the momentum and insights her research will bring to our team!
