In this project, several experiments will be conducted with a particular focus on soil- and water-related challenges, some also in participative DIY mode. The themes covered include soil salinity, microplastics pollution, phytoremediation, and soil health improvement strategies. The experiments will be made accessible in public domain through the HOOU platform in the form of text and video content. The knowledge gained in these experiments can form the basis for research projects for researchers and project work and theses for BSc and MSc students. The documentation from the project can also serve as a laboratory handout for laboratory-based modules. This project and its output will be integrated into the modules 'Water and Environment: Theory and Application' and 'Emerging Trends in Environmental Engineering' offered by Prof. Nima Shokri at the Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics.  You can keep track of the project on the following webpage: https://hoou.tuhh.de/projekte/
