In diesem Jahr haben einige Kollegen wissenschaftliche Beiträge bei der 30. International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM) eingereicht. Die mehrfach verschobene, ursprünglich in Athen stattfindende Konferenz wird nun lediglich über Zoom ausgetragen. Die Online-Vorträge finden vom 07.-09.09.21 statt. Mit folgenden Beiträgen wartet das IFPT bei der Konferenz auf: Smart Material Delivery Unit for Production Supplying Logistics of Aircraft A simulation driven development framework for parallel kinematics Automated Installation of Inserts in Honeycomb Sandwich Materials Digital game-based examination for sensor placement in context of an Industry 4.0 lecture using the Unity 3D engine – a case study

One year has passed since the formation of Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics at TUHH approved by the Academic Senate of TUHH!  One year ago, on this date, the Academic Senate of TUHH approved the formation of Institute of Geo-Hydroinformatics in its 153rd meeting. So many things have happened since that meeting. We are now a functioning institute working on several topics related to multiscale and multidisciplinary challenges on soil, water and climate. Equally important is our contribution and dedication to teaching several BSc and MSc courses using innovative and up-to-date teaching methods. Our Research Based Learning courses provide the students with a unique opportunity to not only learn fundamental science but also experience and enjoy the journey undertaken during conducting state-of-the-art research.   The photo shows our anniversary cake, thank you Ms. Anita Hafemeister for this innovative & tasty cake! The design was inspired by our fieldwork measuring the spatiotemporal changes of soil moisture over an area of nearly 70,000 hectare. One of our goals in this project is to predict soil water dynamics using artificial intelligence.
